USPTO Taps Xerox Attorney To Lead New Dallas Office

Law360, New York (December 8, 2015, 6:36 PM EST) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office announced Tuesday that a top Xerox Corp. in-house attorney has been named the first director of the agency's Texas regional office in Dallas, which opened last month.

Hope Shimabuku, who is currently vice president and corporate counsel responsible for all intellectual property matters for Xerox Business Services LLC, will take over the post in January, USPTO Director Michelle Lee said in a blog post.
