Kelley Drye Not Conflicted In Tricom Case: Judge

Law360 (October 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has allowed Kelley Drye & Warren LLP to continue defending Tricom Card Technologies Inc. in a patent suit over electronic authentication technology, rejecting plaintiff Intelli-Check Inc.'s argument that the firm has a conflict of interest.

Judge Dora L. Irizarry of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York ruled on Tuesday that although one attorney at Kelley Drye had worked for Intelli-Check early in the five-year litigation, his involvement did not present a conflict for the whole firm.
