Fla. Service Centers Win $5.8M For Comcast Contract Breach

Law360, Miami (December 18, 2015, 10:29 PM EST) -- Jacksonville, Florida-based Continental Financial Services on Tuesday asked a Florida state court to finalize a $5.8 million jury verdict the company won earlier this month against Comcast for a terminated contract for Continental to run Comcast customer service centers.

Continental asked Judge Karen K. Cole of the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court to enter a final judgment on the Dec. 8 jury verdict that found Comcast breached a 2000 agreement between the companies and owed damages for more than $5 million in payments that would have been made under the contract.
