Novo Nordisk Hit With Bias, Whistleblower Suit In NJ

Law360, New York (January 4, 2016, 6:26 PM EST) -- Novo Nordisk Inc. has been slapped with a lawsuit in New Jersey by a former employee claiming she was fired in retaliation for taking time off due to a miscarriage and for raising concerns that her coworkers were violating prescription authorization laws.

Alicia Clark-Unusan, a sales representative for the global pharmaceutical firm since 2010, said a coworker treated her coldly and accused her of falsifying sales calls to doctors as a pretext for her termination in November, according to the Dec. 21 complaint filed in Hudson County Superior Court.
