CEOs Lend Support To TPP But Call For More Action

Law360, New York (January 5, 2016, 3:45 PM EST) -- A coalition of top U.S. CEOs gave the Trans-Pacific Partnership a firm endorsement on Tuesday but followed in the footsteps of other business and trade organizations in urging the Obama administration to quickly alter portions of the deal that are not up to par.

In a statement that was otherwise bullish on the 12-nation accord, the Business Roundtable made clear that it is not entirely satisfied with TPP, calling for more White House action before moving the agreement to a vote in Congress.
