More Top Cos. Reporting Sustainability Data: Study

Law360, New York (October 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The number of top U.S. companies that published corporate responsibility data has doubled since 2005 as more companies take notice of the connection between profits and principles, according to a recent analysis of corporate reports.

Of the top 100 U.S. companies by revenue, 74 percent published corporate responsibility information in 2008, an increase of 37 percent from 2005, the KPMG International Survey on Corporate Responsibility said.
