Sex Bias Suit Against Cintas Limited To Mich.

Law360, New York (October 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has ruled that a proposed class action against uniform maker Cintas Corp. over alleged sex discrimination in hiring can only include women in Michigan, not the entire U.S.

Judge Sean F. Cox of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan ruled Monday that the scope of the class was limited by the findings of a related investigation by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which ended in 2002.
