Judge Halts Revival Of L’Oreal Lipstick Class Action
Ruth Koronthaly of South Orange, N.J., filed the initial class action complaint against L’Oreal and its distributor Proctor & Gamble Distributing LLC in 2007 in the U.S. District Court of New Jersey after the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics published a report indicating that some of the company's lipsticks contained dangerous levels of lead.
