1 Claim Survives In ADA Suit V. Sullivan & Cromwell

Law360, New York (October 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An employment discrimination lawsuit brought against Sullivan & Cromwell LLP by a former secretary at the firm has survived summary judgment, although not with all of its claims intact.

In an opinion issued Monday, Judge Shira A. Scheindlin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York kept Cynthia L. Monterroso's reasonable accommodation claim under the Americans with Disabilities Act, but she tossed the plaintiff's hostile work environment and retaliation claims.
