Cleanup Efforts At Calif. Ports Challenged By Govt.

Law360, New York (October 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission plans to sue the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach in a move to block components of a program aimed at reducing air pollution that the agency says violate federal trade law because they reduce the competition necessary for the free flow of foreign trade into the U.S.
