Pappas Can Sell Nev. Assets For $4M: Judge

Law360, New York (October 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A bankruptcy judge has approved the sale of Pappas Telecasting Inc.'s assets in Nevada to Entravision Communications Corp. for $4 million.

Judge Peter J. Walsh of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on Wednesday agreed to the sale of Reno License LLC and Pappas Telecasting of Nevada LP outside of the auction process that has been proposed for the rest of Pappas's assets because of the need to build a digital transmitter at the stations before a Feb. 17, 2009, federally mandated change...
