Rival Bidders Stalk Lehman Asset Management Unit

Law360 (October 31, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Rival bidders are reportedly lining up for Neuberger Berman, the investment management arm of bankrupt Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.

Private equity firm Carlyle Group is expected to bid, and Silver Lake Partners, Blackstone Group LP and TPG Capital LP have also indicated an interest in bidding, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters.
