High Court Weighs RI’s Tribal Land Dispute

Law360 (November 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- U.S. Supreme Court justices heard arguments on Monday in a long-running lawsuit in which the state of Rhode Island has questioned the federal government's decision to place a plot of American Indian land into a trust, which would exempt the tribe from state and local law.
