Swedish Yukos Ruling Unlikely To Affect DC Court Case

Law360, New York (January 29, 2016, 10:43 PM EST) -- A Swedish appellate court handed Russia a victory when it ruled that a Stockholm tribunal lacked jurisdiction to hear expropriation claims by shareholders of the now defunct Yukos Oil Co., but experts say the ruling should not have any impact on D.C. federal court proceedings by another group of Yukos investors under a different investment treaty.
