Freshfields Lands Antitrust Big-Wig For Tokyo Office

Law360, New York (July 17, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Committed to expanding its Asian operations, international powerhouse Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has snagged a Japanese competition veteran to join the firm’s antitrust, competition and trade group in Tokyo.

Freshfields announced the hiring of Akinori Uesugi earlier this month, with the seasoned antitrust attorney coming on board as a senior consultant to the ACT group.
