Court Says Hospitals Can Be Sued Over Contractors

Law360 (November 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A New Jersey appeals court has ruled that hospitals using contract doctors run the risk of being hit with malpractice claims if they fail to inform patients when they are receiving treatment from a contractor instead of a staff doctor.
