CFTC Claims Jurisidiction In Amaranth Trader Appeal

Law360 (November 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission has intervened in an appeal by the former lead trader at defunct hedge fund Amaranth Advisors LLC of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's jurisdiction in a suit over his alleged manipulation of natural gas futures contract prices.
