IRS Will Miss Private Debt Collection Contract Deadline

Law360, New York (February 10, 2016, 4:07 PM EST) -- The Internal Revenue Service will miss a statutory deadline of March 1 to sign contracts with private debt collection firms to assist the agency with collecting unpaid tax obligations, Commissioner John Koskinen told members of Congress Wednesday.
