Apple, AT&T Sued By Immersion Over Touch-Screen Patents

Law360, Los Angeles (February 11, 2016, 10:11 PM EST) -- Immersion lobbed a patent infringement suit in Delaware federal court on Thursday alleging that certain iPhone models and smartwatches made by Apple and sold by AT&T infringe its three patents covering touch-screen technology.

Immersion Corp. claims that Apple Inc.’s iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus, Watch, Watch Sport and Watch Edition products infringe its patents covering haptic feedback technology, which, among other things, allows touch-screen devices to vibrate in response when a user clicks a button.
