Sidley Austin Sees Revenue Bump Up To $1.8B

By Natalie Rodriguez (February 18, 2016, 5:49 PM EST) -- Sidley Austin LLP on Thursday said that its gross revenues grew to $1.866 billion last year, largely buoyed by a handful of key practice areas in both the deals and commercial litigation arenas.

Along with the revenue boost, which is 6.5 percent higher than 2014's number, Sidley Austin also saw profits per equity partner rise 3.8 percent to $2.06 million — even as the firm's equity partnership grew 12 percent — and revenue per lawyer hit $1.05 million, said the law firm, confirming numbers first reported by The American Lawyer.
