Eurotunnel Creditors Set To Discuss Plan Of Action

Law360, New York (July 19, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Creditors of bankrupt Eurotunnel will meet in New York this Thursday for debt restructuring talks, one week after the company shocked investors by filing for bankruptcy protection in a French court, according to published reports.

The French court is expected to rule July 25 on whether Eurotunnel is eligible for bankruptcy protection, a move fiercely opposed by creditors and bondholders, who fear they would miss interest payments if Eurotunnel receives bankruptcy protection.
