Dallas' Appeal Rejected In Gas Rate-Setting Case

Law360, New York (November 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A Texas state appeals court has rejected the city of Dallas' challenge to a lower court order that upheld the Railroad Commission of Texas' decision to set natural gas rates on a statewide rather than region-by-region basis.

The Court of Appeals for Texas' Third District, in Austin, ruled against Dallas and in favor of appellees Atmos Energy Corp. and Railroad Commission of Texas. Atmos is the successor by merger to TXU Gas Corp.
