DOJ-BP Oil Spill Deal Premature: EPA Investigator

Law360 (November 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The inspector general for the U.S. Department of Justice needs to investigate whether the agency improperly dropped its criminal prosecution of a massive BP PLC oil spill in northern Alaska, an environmental advocacy group asserted Tuesday in a complaint filed on behalf of an ex-federal investigator.
