Hospital To Pay $3.75M Over Kickback Scheme

Law360, New York (July 20, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a bid to resolve allegations of health care fraud against the government, a South Carolina medical center has agreed to shell out $3.75 million, while the physician who blew the whistle on the scandal is set to pocket more than half a million dollars for his role in exposing the fraud.
