Ex-Marsh Exec Can't Solicit Clients For 1 Year: Judge

Law360, New York (November 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- In a boost to Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc., a federal judge has slapped an injunction on a former insurance brokerage executive who jumped ship to become a consultant with major competitor Aon Risk Services Inc., prompting Marsh to sue him for breaching nonsolicitation and confidentiality agreements.

Judge John G. Koeltl of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York issued the one-year injunction on Oct. 31 after ruling that Marsh had demonstrated a likelihood of success on the merits of its claims...
