Sanyo Prevails Against Papst In Camera Patent MDL

Law360 (November 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Papst Licensing GmbH & Co. KG took a hit Wednesday when a judge threw out its “bare bones” complaint, accusing Sanyo North America Corp. of infringing two patents for a high-speed interface for digital cameras.

Sanyo's motion to dismiss the case for failure to state a claim was granted in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
