Delphi Eyeing Sale Of Two Units

Law360, New York (July 25, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bankrupt auto supplier Delphi Corp. has asked its financial adviser, Rothschild Inc., to investigate the possible sale of two of its divisions. The move indicates the company is moving ahead with a reorganization plan just one month after winning an extension.

The operations being considered for the auction block include Delphi’s Cockpits & Interior Systems business, as well as its Integrated Closure Systems unit. The combined business units involve 11 plants around the globe, including six plants in the United States.
