Real Estate Firms Test Waters With New Reg A+ Offerings

Law360, New York (March 16, 2016, 7:54 PM EDT) -- Generation Income Properties Inc., the first real estate investment trust to file a Regulation A+ public offering with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, said Tuesday it had gotten the green light from the SEC to sell shares, and lawyers say more real estate companies are considering such mini initial public offerings due to the lower costs and less burdensome regulatory requirements.
