Audubon Society Pushes For Everglades Bridge

Law360, New York (November 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The National Audubon Society has weighed in against an Indian tribe's efforts to block a one-mile bridge in Everglades National Park, contending that the park's ecosystem will suffer without the long-delayed restoration project.

On Tuesday, the National Audubon Society asked to intervene as a defendant along with the U.S. in the case brought by the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
