Another Delay In Effort To Extradite Comverse CEO

Law360 (November 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Jacob “Kobi” Alexander, the fugitive former Comverse CEO, reportedly has won yet another delay in his bid to avoid extradition from Namibia to the United States, where he faces a slew of federal and shareholder actions linked to accusations of backdating stock options.

The extradition hearing was pushed back to March 4, Reuters reported Wednesday. Cosmos Endjala, the presiding magistrate of Namibia's Supreme Court of Appeal, said the delay was allowed for Alexander to appeal the constitutionality of his extradition, according to Reuters.
