3M Sues InFocus Over Patent For Rear Projection TVs

Law360 (January 14, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Two subsidiaries of 3M filed a lawsuit against InFocus Corp. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota last week, alleging that a television light engine produced by InFocus infringes a 3M patent.

The complaint, filed by 3M Innovative Properties Company and 3M Precision Optics Inc. on Jan. 5, seeks an injunction to prevent InFocus from continuing to sell its light engine and unspecified monetary damages.
