Deputy Chief Of Staff Cohen To Leave SEC

Law360, New York (November 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The post-election turnover at the top of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission continued this week, with Deputy Chief of Staff Alexander F. Cohen announcing he will leave the commission Dec. 18 to return to the private sector.

Last week, Cohen's former Latham & Watkins LLP colleague, SEC General Counsel Brian Cartwright, announced that he too would be leaving the commission.

Cohen joined the SEC in November 2006 as deputy general counsel for legal policy and administrative practice, coming aboard a few months after Cartwright. He...
