Class Certified In Sprint Nextel Commission Case

Law360, New York (November 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge in Kansas has certified a class that plaintiffs say could consist of more than 19,000 current and former retail representatives and managers who allege that Sprint Nextel Corp. and Sprint/United Management Co. have been underpaying sales commissions since Sprint's merger with Nextel in 2005.
