Maritime Co. Unit, Officers Found Guilty Over Oil Dump

Law360 (December 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal jury in Texas has convicted a General Maritime Corp. subsidiary and two vessel officers for their role in an alleged scheme to discharge waste oil directly into the sea from the tanker M/T Genmar Defiance during a November 2007 voyage to Corpus Christi, Texas.
