Gardere Adds Ex-EPA Atty To Enviro Team In Dallas

Law360, Los Angeles (April 19, 2016, 10:22 PM EDT) -- Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP on Tuesday said it has bolstered its Dallas office with a seasoned environmental attorney who formerly worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and most recently served as senior counsel for Occidental Chemical Corp.

Laura Whiting, who joins Gardere as a partner in its environmental practice group, concentrates her practice on enforcement and compliance counseling under the Clean Air Act and other state and federal laws, according to Tuesday's statement. She also has expertise with incident investigations, regulatory advocacy and product stewardship requirements, Gardere said.
