Horizon Can't Keep Omnia Docs Hidden From Challengers

Law360, New York (May 2, 2016, 9:23 PM EDT) -- Horizon Healthcare Services Inc. can't keep evidence involving financial analysis out of a lawsuit brought by a number of New Jersey hospitals over Horizon's controversial Omnia Network, a New Jersey state court has ruled, finding that the documents aren't shielded by any sort of privilege.

Horizon was trying to prevent the challengers from gaining access to an analysis it conducted regarding the financial impact, if any, the Omnia program would have on hospitals designated as Tier 2 under the program — as the plaintiffs are.
