Airline Exempt From Calif. Meal, Rest Laws: Judge

Law360, New York (December 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- An employee who works in the California branch of an interstate carrier such as SkyWest Airlines Inc. is not entitled to the state's meal and rest break rules because it conflicts with federal law, a district court judge has ruled.
