CORRECTED: Adelphia To Pay Duke Energy $4.8M In Contract Spat

Law360 (December 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Adelphia Communications Corp. has agreed to pay $4.8 million to utilit to utility company Duke Energy Ohio Inc. to settle various disputes over contracts that arose during and after Adelphia's bankruptcy.

Judge Robert E. Gerber of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York approved the settlement Thursday. The parties stipulated to the agreement Nov. 17.
