Toy Cos. To Pay $1.8M To Settle Calif. Lead Claims

Law360 (December 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Eight toy makers, including Mattel Inc. and Marvel Entertainment, will pay a total of nearly $1.8 million to settle a state lawsuit that accused the companies of failing to warn customers that their toys contained lead or lead compounds in violation of California's Proposition 65.
