By incorporating the new amendment — Article 47-1 — into the Taiwan Fair Trade Act , a whistleblower that provides the Taiwan Fair Trade Commission with high-qualify and sensitive information relating to an antitrust violation or cartel agreement is now entitled to obtain a "finder's fee," provided that he or she meets certain criteria.
