Fed. Circ. Halts Stay In Coffee Container Patent Case

Law360 (December 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Ruling that a lower court abused its discretion, a federal appeals court has reversed a stay awarded to Kraft Foods Global Inc. in a patent infringement suit over coffee containers brought by Procter & Gamble Co.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruled Friday to send the case back to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California for further review.
