Stockbroker Loses Bid To Revive ADA Claim

Law360, New York (December 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has refused a request by a former Salomon Smith Barney Inc. stockbroker to vacate an arbitration ruling that dismissed his claims of wrongful termination against the firm, dashing the finance worker's hopes of reviving his complaint.

Chief Judge Garrett E. Brown of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey said Friday that James O'Leary, who worked for Salomon in its Red Bank, N.J., office for more than 16 years, had failed to demonstrate that the National Association of Securities Dealers' arbitration...
