Obermayer Bilked Associates Out Of Bonuses, Suit Claims

Law360, Harrisburg (May 9, 2016, 4:20 PM EDT) -- A former Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP attorney has filed suit in Pennsylvania state court accusing partners of his former firm of habitually robbing associates and paralegals of potential bonuses by artificially deflating the rates billed for their work.

Ryan Leonard, who spent six years as an associate with Obermayer Rebmann before decamping to Dickie McCamey & Chilcote PC in 2014, accused the firm of allowing partners to boost their own compensation by taking credit for work performed by lower-level attorneys and staff.
