EZ Lube Seeks Ch. 11 After Sales Slump, Lawsuits

Law360, New York (December 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- EZ Lube LLC, one of the country’s largest privately owned quick-lube operators, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the wake of a slowdown in sales and lawsuits alleging misleading sales tactics and wage-and-hour violations.

In a declaration filed along with petition documents Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, EZ Lube chief restructuring officer Stephen V.
