Ala. Court Clarifies Exclusion In Workers' Comp Law

Law360, New York (December 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- In a case involving an injured nurse with Saad's Healthcare Services Inc., the Alabama Supreme Court has determined that an exclusion in the state's workers' compensation law does not disqualify a worker from being deemed permanently disabled based on her refusing psychological and psychiatric treatment after her recovery.
