Ex-Head Of Oil Co. To Pay $3.7M In Sexual Harassment Suit
Law360, Los Angeles (May 13, 2016, 8:37 PM EDT) -- The ex-owner of a now-bankrupt oil company will pay two former female employees a combined $3.7 million in a settlement reached in New Hampshire federal court in a sexual harassment and retaliation suit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, according to court records.
Judgment was entered Tuesday against Frederick J. Fuller in his individual capacity as former owner of the Fred Fuller Oil Company in Hudson, New Hampshire. U.S. District Judge Paul J. Barbadoro approved a confidential settlement revealing only the terms of payment to the two women, intervenor-plaintiffs in the 2013 EEOC suit.
