Potential Class Action Over Heat Pumps Moves Ahead

Law360, New York (December 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A putative class action suit alleging that heat pump supplier ClimateMaster Inc. sold pumps with defective copper coils will move forward with two remaining claims after a judge dismissed a breach of warranty claim against the company.

On Friday, Judge Michael. J. Reagan issued an order in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois dismissing the breach of warranty count from an amended complaint filed by Donna Wetherell and her family.
