Fed. Circ. Sides With Google In ILOR Patent Spat

Law360 (December 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal appeals court has upheld a lower court's decision to deny a preliminary injunction sought by iLOR LLC, which claims that Google Inc.'s Notebook application infringes its hyperlink patent.

On Thursday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit agreed with the trial court that Kentucky-based iLOR's patent claims lack the merit to likely succeed, but the appellate court dismissed other issues raised in the appeal.
