Ford Fights MichCon Bid To Toss Cleanup Suit

Law360 (December 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Ford Motor Co. and steel manufacturer Severstal North America Inc. are fighting Michigan Consolidated Gas Co.'s efforts to throw out their lawsuit over environmental cleanup costs at a swath of land near Michigan's Rouge River, arguing that the company is liable for contamination at the site that occurred over seven decades ago.
