Amkor Agrees To $11.25M Deal In Backdating Suit

Law360 (December 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Semiconductor maker Amkor Technologies Inc. has settled a proposed securities class action alleging that it and certain of its current and former executives improperly backdated stock options and engaged in other securities law violations.

The settlement calls for the company to pay $11.25 million to those who bought Amkor's common stock between July 26, 2001, and July 26, 2006, Amkor said Thursday. The deal still has to win court approval.
